Kids and Teen Boxing in Montreal

Looking for kids or teen boxing classes in Montreal, run in a structured and safe environment? At Boxing Journey, in Saint-Léonard, our Kids class (ages 7 to 10) and our Teens group give your child a structured place to move, build discipline, and gain confidence — with Boxe Canada-certified coaches by their side at every class.

A class for kids aged 7 to 10

The Kids class runs on Tuesday at 5 pm and Saturday at 10 am. It is for children aged 7 to 10: the basics of boxing, in a group their own age, led by Boxe Canada-certified coaches. Sparring is never required.

A group class built for teens

The Teens class runs Monday to Thursday, at 5 pm. It’s a group class that teaches the fundamentals of boxing — technique, mitts, conditioning — in a recreational setting. As with the adult groups at Boxing Journey, sparring is never mandatory: boxing stays recreational by default, and competition remains optional, offered only to young athletes a coach judges ready and interested.

Check the full schedule to see the whole program, for youth and adults alike, or the services page for the other options offered at the gym.

Coaches who are present and certified

The teen and adult groups are led by Boxe Canada-certified coaches, including Winner and Khalid, who specifically coach the teen and adult groups at Boxing Journey. The full team is introduced on the team page.

The Sport-Études Boxing program

For young athletes who want to go further, Boxing Journey also offers the Sport-Études Boxing program, Monday to Friday, from 2 pm to 5 pm, in partnership with high schools. Students follow their enriched school curriculum in the morning, then train at the gym in the afternoon, with a competitive focus. Full details, including partner schools and admission requirements, are on the Sport-Études page.
